The constitutional law, governing the kingdom of God, is known as the Royal Law. The knowledge of this law leads to the knowledge of righteousness and holiness. This is the perfect law, which all those who have been made kings and priests for the worship of God, constantly keep, to avoid blemish and spot in their characters.

Jerusalem, as a city, has intimately been connected with the Creator since antiquity. It was the city where Melchizedek, described as the King of Salem and a Priest of the Most High God, once dwelt. (Gen. 14:19; Heb. 7).  Later, it was occupied by the Jebusites and finally taken by David, who called it “the city of David, the stronghold of Zion.” (Ref: Josh. 15:63; 2 Sam. 5:6-9).

God, “who created all things by Jesus Christ” (Eph. 3:9), created the 7th Day Sabbath, along with other creations, for all mankind.

Those creations, including the Sabbath, were for the perpetual  benefit and enjoyment of  man. 

Know assuredly that “The 7th Day Is the Sabbath of the Lord Thy God” –Ex. 20:10. In the New Testament, Christ claims the ownership of the Sabbath: He says, “The Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. “ – Mk.2:28. If He still claims the ownership of the Sabbath, just as in the Old Testament, the 7 th day Sabbath is therefore “the Lord’s day” –Rev. 1:10.
