Before the World Meets its Doom

THE LAST SIGN OF THE END HAS APPEARED
The end is coming: The prophets of old prophesied it; the Lord Jesus Christ affirmed it; the end-time signs have appeared and grow in intensity (Matt. 24:3-8). But now THE VERY LAST SIGN of THE END OF THE AGE is on the horizon!
YOU HAD BETTER KNOW, REPENT AND RECEIVE THE SAVIOUR INTO YOUR HEART BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!
What is this last sign of the end? It’s the sign of the last rule of the antichrist, “the beast” of Revelation 13! This last sign appears just before the glorious return of Christ to usher in the eternal kingdom of God! Mind you, the antichrist’s rule lasts for just 3 ½ years (Rev. 13:5).
So it’s basically a choice between the 3 ½ – year rule of the beast and Christ’s eternal rule with His saints in glory!
THE BEAST OF 666 IS ON THE RISE
When some in the church at Thessalonica thought that Jesus could return any day, any time, without any definite sign preceding His return, the apostle Paul wrote to clarify the situation to them:
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,
“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the
day of Christ is at hand.
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day [of the Lord’s return] shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
“Who apposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called god, or that is worshipped; so that he as god sitteth in the temple of god, showing himself that he is god” (2Thess.2:1-4).
In other words, when you see the antichrist sitting in the rebuilt temple of Jerusalem making himself out to be god, then the MOMENT has come!
In His Olivet Discourse’ Christ called this “the abomination of desolation”, adding “whose readeth, let him understand” (Matt. 24:15).
But the personal antichrist does not exercise power without a system of government. Bible prophecy indicates that the last Gentile government of which the antichrist is the head will be global in nature, and it will be the final revival of the Roman Empire which fell apart in 476 A.D.
The government of the antichrist has not assumed full power yet, because he’s being restrained in order that the servants of God might be sealed with “the seal of the living God” in their foreheads through the preaching of the gospel (2Thess. 2:6-7; Rev. 7:2-9; Isa. 8:16).
Nevertheless, he is preparing to take power soon! The godless system by which the antichrist will enforce his satanic rule is rising. John, the ‘revelator’; foresaw it:
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns
ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy” (Rev. 13:1).
The “ten horns” of the beast identify it as the Roman Empire, the “fourth beast” Daniel described in his vision as “dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly” and which “had great iron teeth”. With its iron teeth, it “devoured [or conquered] the whole earth” (Dan. 7:7, 23). In confirmation of Bible prophecy, historian Will Durant called Rome “the strongest state history has ever known”.
This is the Rome on the rise again with its “little horn” (the antichrist – Dan. 7:8, 20), called “the name of blasphemy” in Rev. 13. The beast system of revived Rome derives its power from Satan, the dragon (Rev.13:2; 2Thess 2:9). When it assumes world power, true worship will be abolished and all peoples, except those whose names are in the Lamb’s book of life, will worship the dragon and the beast (Rev. 13:4, 8).
THE NATURE OF THE BEAST GOVERNMENT
The government of the antichrist will have three main pillars: A one-world government (Rev. 13:3, 7, 16; 17:8, 15; 16:13-14); a one-world amalgamated religion (Rev. 13:8, 12-15; 17:1-2; 18:23), and a one-world economy (Rev. 13:16-18; 18:3, 11).
Is the world being reorganized along the lines of a world government, a world economy and a world religion in preparation for the last rule of the antichrist?
Your news bulletin confirms so! Terms like ‘International Community’, ‘Globalization’, the ‘New World Order’ and ‘Economic Integration’ are now well-known media buzzwords.
The world is now a ‘global village’ thanks to information technology. Economically, the age of cashless transactions has arrived, while religious tolerance and unity is being promoted as critical to world peace.
The goal is the creation of a global super state. For the first time in history, the government of the antichrist as described in Bible prophecy is now possible. A world government on the model of the United Nations (UN), a centralized world economy with a ‘World Bank’, and a world religion comprising all the major religions of the world are no longer fanciful dreams! The building blocks are already in place in the form of global institutions and increased economic and political cooperation among nations. There’s already a Parliament of World Religions, an International Criminal Court (ICC) and an Earth Parliament drawing membership from all parts of the globe.
Meanwhile, calls continue to mount for a new world currency in the wake of the continuing drop in the value of the US dollar. Ideas have ranged from “promoting an alternative global currency such as the euro” to the creation of “a new synthetic [or electronic] medium of exchange cooked up by the [186-nation] International Monetary
Fund” (David J. Lynch, “Weak dollar raises talk of alternative world currency” USA Today, www.usatoday.com/money/economy/2009-10-22-dollar-weakens-against-euro-N.htm).
At the G8 summit in July 2009 in Italy, a major symbolic push for a new world currency took place when “Russian President Dmitry Medredev unveiled to reporters a coin representing a “united future world currency”. The Russian President told the news conference:
“We are discussing both the use of other national currencies including the [Russian] ruble, as a reserve currency, as well as supranational currencies. This is a symbol of our unity and our desire to settle such issues jointly” (Paul Joseph Watson, “Medredev Unveils ‘World Currency’ Coin At G8, July 1- 2009, www.prisonplanet.com).
An eventual world currency may well be in electronic form, but the unveiling of the coin at a G8 summit signals that world leaders are taking the idea of a united world currency’ seriously!
In that same month of July 2009, Pope Benedict XVI, in an encyclical titled “Charity in Truth”, called for a “world political authority’ to manage the global economy” to avoid a repeat of the global economic crisis (of 2008 – 2009). The Pope said “such an authority would have to be regulated by law’ and would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for rights. Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums’” (Philip Pullella, “Pope calls for a ‘global authority’ on economy”, July 7, 2009, yahoo! Eventually when the “world political authority” does come, it will not only concern itself with the global economy but also religion and geopolitics. An attempt at building a modern Tower of Babel is being made in an effort to unify the nations of the world.
THE ADVANCE INFORMATION OF ‘PROJECT 666’
Don’t believe that global trends are happening by chance. The world is being steered along a definite course in accordance with Bible prophecy. One in the know, a Michel Smiely of Stockholm, Sweden, has revealed the grandiose plans of an envisioned “New Roman Empire of the West” that will rule the world from Europe (the E.U.). In his book Project 666 (published 1990), Michel Smiely outlines the plans of ‘Project 666’ in its quest to “make a Paradise on earth”.
Among other plans, the project seeks to create a “666 identity code” in the form of a microchip inserted in the index finger of the right hand, the elimination of the external debts of all countries, the elimination of cash and the construction of the Third Temple of Jerusalem.
Twenty years on, the plans of ‘Project 666’ are today’s news stories:
The external debts of most Third World Countries have been cancelled under the Highly indebted Poor Country (HIPC) initiative; the use of smart cards (such as E-Zwich in Ghana) for cashless transactions are now commonplace (the next phase is for the embedded chips to be inserted under the skin as is being piloted now); the creation of a Palestinian state living side by side with Israel has been the dream of all Middle East peace negotiations in recent history – from the Oslo Accords of 1993 to the present Roadmap for Peace, supervised by the Quartet (the U.S., the E.U., Russia and the U.N.).
What is more, preparations are under way for the rebuilding of the Jerusalem temple. The Temple institute of Jerusalem (www.templeinstitute.org), together with other partners, has produced many of the objects (vessels) that will be used in the rebuilt temple. These include the Menorah (the 7-branched golden lamp-holder), the altar of burnt offering, the golden censers and the priestly garments. The reconstituted Sanhedrin (the Jewish court of 70 elders) is also working closely with the Temple Institute on blueprints (building plans) for the actual construction of the temple (see
Rev. 11:1-2). This is the temple the antichrist will desecrate as the final “abomination of desolation” as he sits in it playing God!
“THE MARK OF THE BEAST” – HOW THE ANTICHRIST PLANS TO CONTROL EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD ON EARTH!
The Biblical information is quite detailed:
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.
“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six
hundred threescore and six [666]” (Rev. 13:16-18).
While there will be a spiritual dimension to it, ‘the mark of the beast’ will obviously incorporate an identity code which will also enable those who have it to engage in commercial transactions. The commercial importance of the “mark” (Grk “charagma”, ‘a scratch or etching’, ‘a mark cut in or stamped on’) is clearly stated in the prophecy: No one will buy or sell without it!
Bio-chip implants (grain-sized computer chips injected under the skin) designed to perform multiple tasks are not beyond today’s technology. Such tasks range from cashless payment applications to national ID information containing government, personal, employment and commercial data and applications on a single contactless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) microchip. The RFID chips – which are usually inserted in ‘the right hand’ – add a new danger: The RFID devices embedded in the chips can be used to identify and track people once detected and read by radio waves from a RFID scanner.
A cashless ‘surveillance society’ is born! Britain which widely uses closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and other spy technology presents a frightening scenario of how the world government of the beast could turn the whole world into a virtual prison where citizens’ every move could be monitored and those without ‘the mark’ (666chip) will not be able to buy or sell or make a living.
The London Evening Standard newspaper cites an official report by a team of experts which claims that “Britain is a world leader in the use of surveillance technology and its citizens the most spied-upon in the free world… There are 4.2 million CCTV cameras in Britain and the average Briton is caught on camera an astonishing 300 times every day”

With implanted microchips that allow the wearer’s movements to be tracked and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and cameras that snoop on people, there will be no place to hide from the world government of the beast.
Yet the saints whose names are in the lamb’s book of life shall not bow to the beast (Rev. 13:8):
“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire:
and them that had GOTTEN THE VICTORY over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God” (Rev. 15:2).
GOD’S LAST WARNING MESSAGE TO THOSE WHO RECEIVE ‘THE MARK OF THE BEAST’
The antichrist’s 3/2-year rule represents man’s last enterprise of open rebellion and warfare against God on behalf of Satan. It will settle forever the question of who deserves to be worshipped: God or Satan, the Creator or the created? (Rev. 15:4). It’s a matter to which God Almighty attaches utmost importance: Those who ally themselves with Satan through the antichrist will suffer His full wrath (Rev. 15:1, 16); those who reject the antichrist and his image and mark will share a seat with Christ as kings and priests on the throne of God (Rev. 20:4, 6, 3:21, 1:6).
God’s last warning to the world is contained in the message of the third angel:
“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, if any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
“The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name” (Rev. 14:9-11).
During the last rule of the antichrist – just before the hour of God’s judgment comes (Rev. 14:6-7) – the test of obedience will be the rejection of the 666 mark. And it’s not an impossible task for the sincere, Holy Spirit-filled believer. Christ is able to keep His own from falling and to present them “faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy” (Jude 1:24). As against ‘the mark of the beast; the keeping of God’s commandments will constitute the identity of the saints (Rev. 14:12, 12:17).
‘CHOOSE FOR YOURSELF WHOM YOU WILL SERVE’
It’s either eternity with God in indescribable glory and bliss or eternity with Satan in hell-fire!
Dear reader, you can insure yourself against the devil’s 666 identity by receiving the seal of God in your forehead today (Rev. 7:3; cf. Jer. 9:4-6). All you have to do is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and start obeying His commandments by which He seals His disciples (Isa. 8:16; Matt. 28:20; John 8:31).
Don’t believe the erroneous teaching that the ‘rapture’ (ascension of saints) will occur before the 3 ½ -year 666 tribulation in which the antichrist shall “make war with the saints” (Rev. 13:7; Dan. 7:21). Jesus Christ, the Prophet of prophets (Luke 4:24, 24:19; Acts 3:22-23; Rev. 19:10), has stated it plainly that “His elect” (the chosen saints of God) will only experience mass ascension “immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days…” (Matt. 24:29-31; cf. Rev. 7:14). Believe Him; His Word is true!
Doomsday is both decreed and certain; so is the reward of the saints. Choose wisely. PREPARE NOW TO MEET YOUR GOD (Amos 4:12)!
