A.       Under the Old Covenant the  maximum power of Elohim was employed to solve impossible problems facing His people as follows:

1. The Great Miracles of God’s great power by Moses in Egypt, and in the wilderness – 1 Cor. 10:1-4;  Hebr. 13:8.
2. The Great Miracles of God’s great power by Joshua, Samson, Samuel, David, Elijah and Elisha.

Divine wisdom and understanding is scripturally defined as “the principal thing” or asset in life, because it’s the power behind all achievements.  In a nutshell, understanding is the cause of ability with great success.  Anything which is not clear can’t be successfully done!  Wisdom and understanding is therefore the underlying principal power for the development of technologies, whereby the inventions of machines are made.

The label “the Jewish Sabbath” has often been applied to the seventh day. Yet nowhere in the scriptures is the 7^th day referred to as such nor are we told to keep a Jewish Sabbath. It’s a most egregious misnomer! The 7^th Day Sabbath is “the Sabbath of the LORD” – Exodus 20:10. In His own words, God calls the seventh day “my holy day” – Isai. 58:13.

Life on earth is at best a bitter-sweet experience and at worst an endless cycle of woes. One historian simply reduces world history to a record of man's numerous wars: “In many instances, the history of a people is the history of its wars.” ( Dictionary of Wars by Childs Khon 1999 p viii).

God's words are his powers and vice versa. Defining God's all-purpose miracle-word, the writer of the general, holy letter to the Hebrews said: “For the word of God is living, and powerful, sharper then any two-edged SWORD” (Heb 4:2; emphasis mine). Figuratively speaking, Yashua (Christ) is the “Word of God—its personification that is.
